Taking a break

I think I'm going to take a blogging break. Just til I feel more myself. I briefly considered deleting my blog, but considering how I can't seem to do anything right lately - probably the less irreversible decisions made the better.
An feeling overwhelmed and alone and that seems to come out where I offend or bore people.
So ... Taking a break.

    I'm at that point, too. I find that sometimes it is best to say nothing and wait until there is something to say. Take good care. Have a joyous holiday season.

    Maybe a break is good. I am sure I missed something as I have no idea how you bored or offended anyone here. (& if someone is bored, that is kind of their problem - no one *has to* read your blog. I am always amused by trolls who point out how boring and terrible we are - as if one who has nothing better to than to read our blogs and put us down must have a far more wonderful life. Wink ). Just saying...

    I do totally understand walking away from the computer at times, so, just enjoy the break, and we hope you come back!

    P.S. If you send me a wish list of books I can try to get you some. Since both kids are in school my dh is volunteering an insane amount at Scholastic this year. I keep thinking I wish I could just send you a voucher, but they are only good for this sale in this warehouse. But I can have him keep an eye out for some titles. (trust me, we are already giving tons to the school and to the kids' teachers). IF not this time - definitely next time.

    Agreed with everyone. Wait and see if you feel better later. It would be a shame to lose all of this history. And I don't think or see that you've offended or bored anyone, unless you deleted obnoxious comments (in which case, good thinking! Smile )

    I glad it was just the lack of sleep talking. I was gonna head down personally to get you back. I enjoy your blog - even if you don't think that you do anything interesting ... you've changed careers successfully during the GD v.2 and you've kept your sanity while doing it. Face it, you are a rarity.

    I just logged on for the first time in a few weeks - truth be told sometimes I dont have the mental energy to blog either. i have two and this one is updated more regularly than the other - even though my other blog allows more freedom with what to write. alas, with work and uni, when i do find the time to blog i sometimes think my posts are pretty boring and repetitive, so i try to keep them to just the big interesting things. but then more often than not - nothing interesting comes along and i feel bad for not updating, so i write a boring update and hope you all don't think 'wow, i want my two minutes back please!'. Big Grin
