In my 20's I was a teacher and a mis-manager of my money. Through a series of events in my mid-20's I woke up and began to become a manager of my money. Now, in my early 30's, although I am no longer teaching, I am still managing my money. I am debt free. :) My top 3 personal goals are: 1. Run a 5k in 38 minutes or less by December 2009. 2. Live a consistently healthy lifestyle in terms of life/work balance; diet; and exercise. 3. Give of myself to others, and enrich my life with friendships old and new. Car Fund: $3,572.43
Down Payment: $1,138.13
Birthday Cruise: $169.21

Extra Monies:

Because of the debacle with bounced gym check, etc no real extra money this month.

I did however add $400 of my 5th Friday paycheck to my Car Fund, plus the interest from various sources.
All gym monies, etc will be counted in Feb.

Car Fund: $3,997.83 (400 + interest)
Down Payment: $1448.16 (200 + interest)
