Bing and other info :)

Well, not too much really happening on the financial front. I sold another item on eBay on Monday just before leaving work. This gave me enough time to print out a shipping label and walk to the post office to mail it the same day (although it didn't go out until today.)

Bing is having a special deal where you earn double search points on Tuesdays in May. I was happy to see that as I have been spending a lot of points on the Hulu+ 300 point offer - in fact I have my Hulu+ account paid for through the end of August!

I just have to say here how much I love Bing's customer service. This morning I was doing my Bing searches when I noticed the double deal. I usually get 30 points in searches a day. On my page it had the correct wording saying that I could get up to 60 points, but it only gave me 30 credits. I wrote to customer service about the issue around 7:15 a.m. By 1:30 p.m. I had a human response, and this afternoon around 4 p.m. when I checked the Bing Dashboard, it was fixed!

I also mentioned that my mobile search wasn't working right. That hasn't been fixed yet, but I feel sure they will make it right.

    Congrats on your ebay sale. I adjust the price down again for an item I have had listed for at least two weeks. It now has a bid, so I can consider that item sold! I noticed the new bing rewards today, too. And I found those Read bucks on Swagbucks. I haven't been doing Swagbucks much...just a few SBs a day right now.

    Thanks CCF! I had several items that had been up for three weeks. This last week I upped their price, but added free shipping. One of them sold almost within minutes of me reposting it with free shipping! Funny how that works sometimes. Smile

    Thanks for the heads up about the Swagbucks! I hadn't noticed it yet...and it knocked me over the goal for today, woohoo! I adore Bing as well...I've been using my points to get the 500 Swagbucks reward. Easy way to ensure I hit goal once a month, and if I want Amazon cards the "conversion" seems to be better Smile I've been thinking about getting Hulu with my points though.

    LF - Thanks! It's hard for me to believe too.

    Petunia - I should've saved them for when I needed them, but just wasn't sure how long they'd be available.

    LTM - I used my Bing points for SB codes too for awhile - but about 6 weeks ago or so they stopped counting towards the daily goal ... so when the 300 point Hulu+ code promotion started, I jumped! I'll be going back to redeeming for SB codes again now, but only because it makes sense to redeem value wise - either for Paypal or Amazon.

    Wait...don't listen to me! I noticed that last time I input a code but assumed it was a glitch since sometimes my Swagbucks doesn't update for a few minutes. I have been using them to help me jump up to PayPal, so I might still do it, but I think you're right about them not counting...oh well.

    No problem! They didn't make a big deal of it when they stopped letting them count towards daily goals. I only found out by reading the FB wall (and the numerous complaints about the change in policy.) I had planned on using several codes during Spring Break when I had NE (my boyfriend) here visiting, and was really disappointed in the change.
